There are few things more annoying than hives, especially if you get them on a regular basis. They are red, ugly and perhaps worst of all, incredibly itchy. Sometimes they’re even painful. The big question on every sufferer’s mind is how to get rid of hives and get back to normal. Luckily, there are several ways to do just that.

Don’t suffer another moment with the itch, swelling and pain of hives. Click here now to discover an all-natural hives remedy that will treat your hives safely, effectively and FAST!

First of all, you need to know that a lot of hives are caused by allergic reactions. If this is the case for you, the first thing to do is to figure out what you’re allergic to.

Allergies can relate to almost anything. It could be an outside source, like someone’s perfume at your job. On the other hand, it could be a family member or friend’s pet. It could even be a chemical in the air.

Allergic reactions also occur in response to things we eat or drink. Anything from a medication to a simple food such as strawberries can cause an allergic reaction. That reaction could come with a case of skin hives. Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to figure out what’s causing chronic hives, or cases that occur nearly every day for extended periods of time.

Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Hives

Essential oils are one possible way to cure your hives. There are lots of them out there that can relieve itching and give a cool, soothing feel to your skin. Sandalwood is such an example. In fact, it’s been used by Native Americans for generations. Lavender and chamomile are also great essential oil choices for curing hives.

Another natural approach to treating hives Quercetin. It’s a pigment found naturally in several foods including onions, apples and green vegetables. It works as a natural antihistamine. As you may know, antihistamines are commonly used to cure allergic reactions.

Traditional Treatments For Hives

Pramoxine and Diphenhydramine, also known as Benedryl, are more traditional hives treatment options. So is camphor. Traditional antihistamines can reduce swelling and, more importantly to you if you’re scratching like crazy, help you to eliminate the incredible amount of itching that usually accompanies hives.

Preventing Hives

Finally, boosting your immune system can possibly help you to avoid getting hives. Eating properly is a major component of strengthening your immune system. If you normally eat a lot of junk food, try cutting back and eat more healthful foods. Vitamin supplements such as vitamin C may also be helpful.

If you really want to get rid of hives, being as healthy as possible to begin with will help although is’t no guarantee. Sometimes, hives just happen. Consult with your doctor to find the treatment that’s best for you.

I’ve had a LOT of luck with L-Lysine (very cheap – about $5 for 100 tablets). I take 2,000 mg a day. I had chronic hives for MONTHS and nothing helped, not even benedryl. I took L-Lysine, Vitamin B-12 (liquid) and Vitamin C and the hives were GONE in three days. I was hive free for 6 months. When I stopped taking the supplements the hives came back. If you have Fibromyalgia and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and have hives, it’s possible it could be a yeast infection/Candida infection. Eliminate bread, wheat, carbs and all sugar (sugar feeds the yeast infection) and start eating yogurt or Kefir – stuff with probiotics in it. Good luck. I HATE hives! CORvalen D-Ribose (On Amazong.com) helps too. And check out “From Fatigued to Fantastic” by Dr. Jacob Teitlebaum, M.D. He explains where chronic hives come from and how to get rid of them.
